The Salvation Army Angel Tree Distribution 2019

Dec 18, 2019 | by Christopher Hall

The Salvation Army is preparing its Angel Tree Toy and Joy Shop for families who signed up for Angel Tree. The Toy and Joy Shop will be open Thursday, December 19 through Saturday, December 21. We will be helping over 869 families, that include 2596 children, this year. Those that signed up to receive gifts for their children are asked to come during their scheduled appointment time.  Each family will receive gifts for prequalified children ages 0-17 and many will also receive a Christmas Turkey. Volunteers will act as Santa’s elves helping each family select gifts to bring joy and smiles Christmas morning.

The Salvation Army is extremely grateful to the community for stepping up to provide donations of money and toys to make this happen. The need is still great, and we will continue to accept Angel Tree gift donations throughout the days of distribution.

The press is welcomed to come and do either live remotes or interviews during Angel Tree Distribution. Thursday the 19th and Friday the 20th would be the best days to come.
