To the Lives Shattered By Human Trafficking
The Salvation Army of Washoe County Advisory Board wants to defeat human trafficking, and they need your help. The SEEDS of Hope program works in collaboration with law enforcement agencies and numerous community service providers to identify, rescue and restore victims of all forms of human trafficking.
Services provided through Seeds of Hope include:
Transportation to a Salvation Army substance abuse center
Transportation to a Salvation Army human trafficking shelter
Help with basic needs like clothing, food, toiletries and supplies
Additional social services and referrals to other service providers
We Need Your Help
This month we are collecting items for comfort kits that we will give out to victims once we get them out of the situation they are in.
Below are what are in the kits and what we are asking for you to collect.

Monetary Donations

Funding is Used For
| Placement of civtim in a safe location for an extended period of time. |
| To buy phones/minutes to connect with civtims as most do not have a phone. |
| To pay for therapy services. |
| To help pay for electricity. |
| For transportation. |
| To get into a recovery program if they don't have insurance. |
| For rental assistance for the first month/copay until we could get them a job and connected to rental assistance. |
